Always Tired

Having epilepsy and taking lots of different medicine has made me continuously tired. I’m not sure how the rest of you feel who have an invisible illness but it really knocks me out, I could probably sleep 24/7 if it was possible. Here as some tips to help improve constant tiredness:

Rest

Having small rest times can actually improve tiredness, it gives your body and mind time to recharge and recover.

Yoga

Yoga can re-energise your body, mind and soul. By just doing a few dynamic stretches or heading to a yoga class can boost your whole system.

Eating Well

It is important to eat well or you will feel very tired during the day. By balancing your meals throughout the day it will increase your energy levels and improve your immune system.

Hydration

By drinking plenty of WATER throughout the day you will find yourself more energised. Water is so important for both your immune system and improving your skin. Drinking drinks that leave you with a buzz of energy is both not good for your health and just leaves you crashing out in the end.

Routine

Your body, mind, and soul crave routine. Going to bed at the same time, waking bright and early, eating balanced meals regularly, all help to keep you on track, physically and emotionally.

Recharge yourself

Whether you need more rest or a big jump start to your day, it’s important to remember that you need to take care of yourself. Through a balanced yoga practice, a healthy diet, and daily life activities that sees you spending time in the open air, you’ll start to feel more energised pretty quickly.
